Temagami

Two-week sessions built around a 6 day canoe trip in the Temagami area for 10 to 11 year olds.

Explore the beautiful waters of the Temagami region.

Our two-week Temagami program is a balance between in-camp fun and canoe tripping adventure. Campers will start their program with a few days living in cabins at our base camp. They’ll have the opportunity to do lots of fun activities such as swimming, archery, paddle boarding, and arts and crafts. Campers will also receive instruction in paddling and camp craft skills to prepare for their canoe trip.

Campers will then head out with their group on a 6 or 7 night canoe trip in the Temagami area, leaving from our docks. Campers will experience the rare beauty of the traditional lands of the Teme-Augama Anishnabai and Temagami First Nation through its wide open lakes, forested portage trails, and cool rocky campsites. Their experienced and capable leaders will push the group to challenge themselves and try new things, while also making sure that there is lots of time for fun at the campsite.

No previous outdoor or canoe tripping experience is required. Participants must be comfortable in and on the water.
