Wanapitei recognizes and acknowledges that we operate within N'dakimenan, the traditional homeland and unceded territory of the Teme Augama Anishinabek and Teme Augama Anishnabai People - the Original People of N’dakimenan (Our Land). They have maintained a distinct territory, language, laws, governing authority, social organization, and culture since time immemorial.
