Support Wanapitei
Immediate Giving
Camp Wanapitei appreciates the generosity of donors looking to help offset our annual capital spending — that is, what we spend every year on our canoes, camping gear, vehicles, buildings, and site infrastructure.
In years past, donors like you have enabled us to build a new kitchen, refurbish our office, upgrade our canoe fleet, replace our generator, and better maintain our gear and buildings. That’s significant!
We spend a lot and yet always wish we could make even more progress towards goals like improving our camper cabins and maintaining our wood canvas canoes.
Please learn about how you can help by emailing or calling us at (705) 745-8314. You can also make an immediate donation through our online giving platform.
Our form is secure, accepts credit cards, and can be used to make “in memoriam” contributions. While we can’t issue tax receipts, we can promise you that your support will make a real difference this season and beyond.
Planned Giving
Interested in making a powerful, lasting impact on Camp Wanapitei that costs you nothing during your lifetime?
You can support Wanapitei’s life-changing experiences by including us in your will or estate plans, or by naming us as a full or partial beneficiary of your investment accounts, retirement funds, or insurance policies. Gifts of vehicles and property are also welcomed.
Benefactors who generously include Wanapitei in their legacy planning become members of the “Camp Wanapitei Legacy Circle” and are memorialized both at an in-camp ceremony and on a permanent plaque. If you’d like us to recognize your generosity during your lifetime, please notify us of your intentions.
We can also facilitate possibly tax-advantaged support of Camp Wanapitei through the Taylor Statten Camping Bursary Fund, a registered Canadian charity. They administer the Bob Boutilier Memorial Fund, an endowed fund that helps make Camp Wanapitei more accessible to families in need. For larger gifts, they can also support the creation of new endowment funds tailored to your specific wishes.
