Family Handbook – The 2026 Version is Here!

Our Family Handbook is a must read for new and returning families alike. Most questions we receive through the camp office are answered in the Handbook.

In this handbook, you will find lots of important information you will need throughout your Wanapitei experience – both before and during camp. Please read it carefully and keep it on hand for quick reference. Do you have any questions or concerns? Please get in touch – we love to hear from you!

Acknowledgement

Wanapitei recognizes and acknowledges that we operate within N'dakimenan, the traditional homeland and unceded territory of the Teme Augama Anishinabek and Teme Augama Anishnabai People - the Original People of N’dakimenan (Our Land). They have maintained a distinct territory, language, laws, governing authority, social organization, and culture since time immemorial. Their N’dakimenan encompasses approximately 10,000 square kilometers of land, including the location of Camp Wanapitei. We recognize the significance of this land to the people of N'dakimenan and their enduring connection to it.As a camp we agree to honour and uphold the Notice of Jurisdiction stated by Teme Augama Anishinabek and TAA.
