It is with profound sadness and deep respect that Camp Wanapitei announces the death of past Director/President, Bruce Hodgins. He had an enormous impact on all who were graced by his love, enthusiasm, insight, unparalleled generosity of spirit as well as his passion for friendship, community and the canoe. Since 1956, Bruce has been the heart of Wanapitei and we will be hard pressed to find another soul with such passion, principles, and strong hugs. His leadership will continue to inspire and influence our community. He was a true scholar, teacher, mentor, adventurer, environmentalist and friend and will be dearly missed.
