The best thing that happened to me this summer was going under the bridge [on returning to camp]…the whole camp stands on a wooden bridge and they are cheering and clapping as loud as they can to welcome you back to camp.

Directions: From the town of Temagami, drive north on Highway 11 for 10 kilometres and turn left (west) on the Red Squirrel Road. Drive straight on the Red Squirrel Road for 28 kilometres, following the signs to Wanapitei.
Parking: Our parking lot is a small cleared area in the forest. Turn left at the sign that says "Public Access to Lake Temagami" to get to the Wanapitei parking lot.
Our camp bus leaves Vaughan (north of Toronto) and Ottawa in the morning of every 2-week arrival day and returns in the afternoon of every 2-week departure day. Stops are: Vaughan, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Ottawa, Deep River, North Bay, and Temagami.
