First off, I wanted to mention how wonderful Sierra was this morning [at the drop off for the camp bus]. She met my daughter and I and made our transition so lovely. I was thrilled to meet Emma’s counselor and learn that she was as lovely as she is. Directions: From the town of Temagami, drive north on Highway 11 for 10 kilometres and turn left (west) on the Red Squirrel Road. Drive straight on the Red Squirrel Road for 28 kilometres, following the signs to Wanapitei.
Parking: Our parking lot is a small cleared area in the forest. Turn left at the sign that says "Public Access to Lake Temagami" to get to the Wanapitei parking lot.
Our camp bus leaves Vaughan (north of Toronto) and Ottawa in the morning of every 2-week arrival day and returns in the afternoon of every 2-week departure day. Stops are: Vaughan, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Ottawa, Deep River, North Bay, and Temagami.
