Whenever I let myself get immersed in this season, I feel grateful. Today I feel grateful for Wanapitei – for the community we have – for the family feeling – for the best job in the world. I’m working on the new website and feeling excited about sharing it with everyone. I’m hoping that it “says Wanapitei” in a wonderful way. With warm thoughts, I’ll sign off. JJ

Directions: From the town of Temagami, drive north on Highway 11 for 10 kilometres and turn left (west) on the Red Squirrel Road. Drive straight on the Red Squirrel Road for 28 kilometres, following the signs to Wanapitei.
Parking: Our parking lot is a small cleared area in the forest. Turn left at the sign that says "Public Access to Lake Temagami" to get to the Wanapitei parking lot.
Our camp bus leaves Vaughan (north of Toronto) and Ottawa in the morning of every 2-week arrival day and returns in the afternoon of every 2-week departure day. Stops are: Vaughan, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Ottawa, Deep River, North Bay, and Temagami.
