Trent Temagami Colloquium
September 19, 2013 - September 22, 2013

The Trent Colloquium takes place at Camp Wanapitei, on the shores of Lake Temagami. With canoes, a long sandy beach, traditional log buildings, and access to some of Ontario’s most beautiful landscapes, a better place to discuss and experience the land would be hard to find.
The name Wanapitei (pronounced wawna – puh – TAY) comes from the Anishnabai name Wanapiteiping, which means “oblong body of water, full to overflowing.” Steeped in aboriginal tradition, as well as with a more contemporary history of conflict, Wanapitei is an excellent place to learn on the land and engage in a sense of place.
