Our new activity centre is a dream come true. This building is BEAUTIFUL. From a functional standpoint, it’s use is exactly what we had hoped it to be. We’ve had RAIN and STORMY weather. And everyone has been able to stay active with games. Floor hockey is alive at Wanapitei. Square dance at the end of last session with our in-house band on the stage was a site to behold.

Directions: From the town of Temagami, drive north on Highway 11 for 10 kilometres and turn left (west) on the Red Squirrel Road. Drive straight on the Red Squirrel Road for 28 kilometres, following the signs to Wanapitei.
Parking: Our parking lot is a small cleared area in the forest. Turn left at the sign that says "Public Access to Lake Temagami" to get to the Wanapitei parking lot.
Our camp bus leaves Vaughan (north of Toronto) and Ottawa in the morning of every 2-week arrival day and returns in the afternoon of every 2-week departure day. Stops are: Vaughan, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Ottawa, Deep River, North Bay, and Temagami.
