We found ourselves staring out across a valley of rolling hills with small lakes/ponds in between, which was flanked by mountain ranges on either side and went on as far as the eye could see. The weeks of upstream and hours of portaging leading up to that moment had suddenly all paid off at once. It was the most incredible feeling, and was just the motivation we needed to push through the final few hours of our longest and hardest day of trip.” Daniel will be leading trips this summer.
